Like almost every other charity, we at Spirit Aid worry about the demand for support and help in January, quite simply because of the huge demand for help at Christmas. 

It is a fact that literally millions of families and children are living in real poverty, for many the outlook is bleak, and even putting food on the table can be a major worry for parents. 

There are many families who need to turn to charities like Spirit Aid for support, and that puts massive pressure on the charity.

Fortunately, this month seen a wonder charity called KIND step forward with a kind and generous offer to support our work by donating more than 100 incredible food hampers.

The hampers have already been distributed in our communities and have made a real difference to our ability to support those in need. 

This collaboration is a wonderful example of what charities can achieve when they work together.
