In 2019 we had hundreds of walkers “walking the walk” as they donned their tartan and walking shoes and set off on the distance of their choice to raise money to support Spirit Aid projects.
The day started with an early breakfast at the world famous Clutha Bar before the walkers were led onto their busses by a piper stirring the atmosphere with a rousing rendition of Scotland the Brave.
The Walk it’s self-was loads of fun, all the walkers were fed, watered and entertained as they put their best foot forward to make a difference, the after walk Party was sensational and then the Spirit Aid team were bussed back to the Clutha Bar for more fun.
The evening at the Clutha was buoyed by the terrific sense of achievement of those who completed their walk and the party was soon in full swing with live music, hot snacks and a wee dram or two, the celebrations and the camaraderie were all part of that wonderful experience of taking part in the Kilt Walk for Spirit Aid….check out the pictures in our gallery below.
