Glasgow Kiltwalk 2022 Update
Glasgow Kiltwalk 2022 Update

I hope you are all ready for the wonderful day out on Sunday that will have a massive impact on our ability to support some of the most needy and poorest people.

All the money you raise for Spirit Aid will be spent enabling our wonderful projects – thank you for making a difference.

Enjoy a wonderful day on Sunday, make new friends, spend quality time with your loved ones, take pride in Walking the Walk and providing a helping hand to those in need!

Look out for fellow Spirit Aid walkers when you’re on the walk, take pictures and share on our Social Media!

If you can make it to the Clutha, come back, let’s have a party and keep the fun going!

You might not know it, but you are SPECIAL, you have stepped up and you are doing something really positive to give a helping hand to those most in need. You are so worthy of the medal you will receive on Sunday!

It’s now only a matter of a few days, Scotland’s Best Fun Fundraising Day.

Spirit Aid Walkers – here is the info you need:

Again, thank you all for taking part in this year’s Glasgow Kiltwalk on behalf of Spirit Aid, we hope that you have a wonderful day!

In respect of fundraising, it’s amazing how powerful the Kiltwalk can be. If everyone on the list raised an extra £10, with The Hunter Foundation Top Up that would bring in over £2000 for that extra £10 from everyone.

Transport from the Clutha to the Wee Wander Start at Loch Lomond Shores.

Breakfast is free and will be provided at the Clutha from 7:45am for all Spirit Aid Kiltwalkers.

The Kiltwalkers will then be piped onto the coach by the Wee Pied Piper at 8:45am. A second coach will depart at 9:15am for those with later start times.

Transport to the Clutha post walk.

There will be a clearly marked Spirit Aid coach, McCreadies Airdrie, from the Balloch Park finish area bus/car park at the following times:

1:45 pm
2:15 pm
3:15 pm

Bus travel back to the Clutha is free and exclusive to Spirit Aid walkers.

Everyone is welcome to join us at The Clutha for an afternoon of great entertainment, there will be a DJ playing 80s music, a couple of singer/entertainers and a children’s entertainer.

Free snacks (pizza, chips, etc.) will be served not long after the coaches return from the Kiltwalk.

The entertainment will run until 6pm.

Can we ask you all to take and share as many photos as you can on your own and on Spirit Aid’s Social Media.
