About Kiltwalk

Kiltwalks are mass participation walking events that raise much-needed funds for Scottish charities and projects.

Kiltwalkers can raise funds for any charity of their choice and thanks to the generosity of Sir Tom Hunter and The Hunter Foundation, all funds raised will be topped up by 50%.

Since 2016, our Kiltwalk Heroes have raised £19 million, and The Hunter Foundation have added £10 million – that’s a total of £29 million for over 2,600 charities.

About Spirit Aid

Everyone at Spirit Aid loves the Kiltwalk. Not only is it our biggest fundraising event of the year, but it’s also great fun for everyone taking part.

Over the years, we have had thousands of walkers “walking the walk” donning their tartan and walking shoes to raise money in support of Spirit Aid projects. Many people wonder what more they can do to help those in need in their communities facing food and fuel poverty, one thing you can do is support Spirit Aid by taking part in the Glasgow 2022 Kiltwalk!

Why you should take part in the Kiltwalk 2022

Not only is the Kiltwalk a fantastic day for important causes, but it is also a great team building exercise. Team building exercises not only improve employee morale, productivity, and open communication, but they can also promote your company’s success and profitability.

It allows each employee to feel included and part of a team, as they are able to get to know each other better by spending a day together to raise money. If you choose to sponsor Spirit Aid, we will provide your company with a personalised Kiltwalk t-shirt with your company logo.

If you would like to take part in a fantastic day for an amazing cause, make sure to use the code SPIRITWW100 to register for the Wee Wander and we will cover the cost of your entry fee. Spirit Aid spend a minimum of 90p in every pound we raise to support our communities, so please join us and Walk the Walk!
