Spirit Aid rely on the support of individuals and companies to enable us to support the most needy and vulnerable in our communities, but we also do everything we can to raise funds to support our work in our communities. Without a doubt, the biggest fundraising event of the year for Spirit Aid is the Glasgow Kiltwalk which this year is on March 28th. We already have more than 250 volunteers registered to take part on our behalf and Select Blinds have agreed to provide the transport to take our walkers from the Clutha Bar to Loch Lomond Shores and then after the Kiltwalk, back to the Clutha. Without the support of Select Blinds this would be a huge cost to Spirit Aid, however, Select Blinds will provide the coaches for 250 plus walkers free of charge. This is a huge commitment from Derek and his team at Select Blinds, but it’s no surprise, Select Blinds have a history of stepping up to the plate and supporting Spirit Aid and the work we do in our communities. Derek from Select Blinds is pictured handing over a cheque to Patrick from Spirit Aid to provide transport for the Kiltwalkers on April 28th, a wonderfully kind and generous action ❤️
“Select Blinds have for a number of years, consistently provided very real and substantial support to Spirit Aid and our communities, we are truly grateful for their support and encouragement ❤️” said Patrick from Spirit Aid
